This 10 Week Beginners Programme covers all the main types of yoga poses and their key benefits for health. We cover Standing Poses, Forward Bends, Backward Bends, Hip Openers, Core Strengtheners, Balances, Twists and Inversions plus we look at the differences between the styles of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Breathing exercises (pranayama) and mindfulness are also covered. At the end of this course you will have ALL the basics you need to start attending a regular yoga class or develop your own home practice. Hand-outs are available and personal advice given where possible.

This is a Pranayama class that combines subtle body movements with breath to clear the body of toxins and tension. A Yoga class to help you receive clarity of mind and body with breath and somatic release. In this class we will focus on the navel center and cleansing the core of emotional residue and negativity. You will have the chance to experience vigorous breath that can aid in your daily life for all sorts of reasons to include getting closer to love, manifesting change, improving relationships and weight loss. Most of the breath techniques can be done seated in a chair however some will be on the floor. Come prepared to class to be in a comfortable position. We will begin with a guided intent setting visualization and move into 15-20 minutes of breathing exercises and meditation.

Nija yoga means the innate, personal side of one's self. This class will bring the student closer to his/her true self through easy breathing and stretching techniques. Feb. 6 class will focus on loosening the hip joint.
